Job Summary
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) on a contract basis plays a vital role in overseeing and driving clinical trials. This position involves ensuring that all phases of the trial process adhere to regulatory requirements and that data collected are both accurate and reliable. The CRA will work closely with the clinical team to facilitate the successful execution of the research objectives, making sure that timelines and protocols are followed meticulously.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites by conducting regular visits to verify compliance with study protocols.
- Ensure that investigators and site staff are properly trained on the study procedures.
- Review and verify the accuracy of the data collected during the trials.
- Coordinate communication among sponsors, investigators, and study coordinators.
- Assist in maintaining trial documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Address any issues or query raised by the sites efficiently and promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as life sciences or health-related disciplines.
- Previous experience in clinical research or as a CRA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
