A reputable firm is in search of a Contracts Paralegal with a focus on SaaS and procurement. This onsite role, based in Jersey City, New Jersey, offers an hourly compensation of $75-$85. The ideal candidate will engage in essential legal activities, including contract review and negotiation, ensuring that all standards and compliance measures are met.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of contracts related to SaaS and procurement.
- Engage in negotiations to ensure favorable terms.
- Support the legal team with various tasks pertaining to contract management.
- Maintain an organized filing system for contracts and related legal documentation.
- Provide updates and reports on contract statuses and legal matters as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in legal functions, particularly in contract law.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree, Master of Laws (LL.M.), or Master of Legal Studies is required.
- Strong understanding of SaaS agreements and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
