Job Summary
The position of Travel Nurse RN as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is available in Thousand Oaks, California. This role requires an onsite work arrangement where the successful candidate will provide essential nursing care as part of a team, taking on significant responsibilities in assisting surgical teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide support to the surgical team.
- Monitor and care for patients pre-operatively and post-operatively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Administer medications and manage IVs as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts of 5 days per week, each lasting 8 hours.
