Leidos Engineering is looking for an Associate Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team in Portland, Oregon. This position focuses on the design of civil and structural components for substation projects. The successful candidate will be engaged in various engineering tasks related to substations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring design quality and adherence to regulations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the direct design of civil and structural elements within substation projects.
- Support bidding processes through the development of detailed engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
- Participate in field reviews and assessments as needed to inform design practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in civil/structural design, particularly in the context of electrical substations.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, relevant codes, and standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
