Job Summary
The Sr. QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, and collaborating closely with development teams to identify and address defects, ensuring the final product meets high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality.
- Execute manual and automated tests while documenting results for review.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and address any issues that arise during testing.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Participate in requirement review sessions to provide input on testability aspects.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst, specifically in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
