Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant to join our team in Flint, Oregon. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care as well as assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in surgical settings.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing support and necessary instruments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery progress post-surgery.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and recovery.
- Participate in pre-operative assessments and planning.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- Holds a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical expertise and the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including five 8-hour days.
- Willingness to engage in a 13-week contract period.
