Job Summary
The Senior Clinical Research Associate (Level II) position at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Dorchester, Massachusetts, plays a pivotal role in the oversight and management of clinical trials focused on innovative solutions for cancer treatment. The individual in this role will engage in risk-based monitoring of clinical sites, contributing to the advancement of medical research.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical investigator sites to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Implement risk-based monitoring strategies to assess the quality and integrity of clinical data.
- Collaborate with site personnel to support trial execution and address any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the preparation and review of study documentation and reports.
- Provide training and ongoing support to site staff on study protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or a Registered Nursing certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical research, particularly in monitoring clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
