The Milieu Nurse provides direct nursing care, administers medication, and engages with youth to develop adaptive living skills within a residential psychiatric setting. They also actively monitor and manage crisis situations while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to implement treatment plans. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut and have graduated from an accredited nursing school. The role requires the ability to handle crisis situations, implement behavior modification programs, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
