The Milieu Nurse provides nursing services, administers medication, and engages directly with youth to assist in developing adaptive living skills. They also monitor crisis situations and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to implement therapeutic treatment plans. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut and have graduated from an accredited nursing school. Experience in psychiatric or congregate care settings and proficiency in crisis intervention and behavioral management are required.
