The Ready-Mix Driver plays a crucial role in the safe operation of a concrete mixer truck, ensuring timely delivery of materials to various job sites while following all relevant traffic and safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, keeping the truck clean, and effectively communicating with both dispatchers and clients. Applicants should hold a valid California Class A or B commercial driver’s license, including air brake and tanker endorsements. A high school diploma or GED is desirable, and candidates must have a clean driving history along with the physical capability to lift chutes that weigh up to 50 pounds.
