Job Summary
The position entails drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intricate pharmaceutical and business agreements while offering practical legal advice and overseeing legal and business risks across the organization. The role also includes enhancing contracting templates, processes, and playbooks, collaborating on international legal initiatives, and contributing to wider Legal and Compliance projects.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements related to pharmaceuticals and business endeavors.
- Provide pragmatic legal counsel and minimize legal and business risks for various teams.
- Enhance and refine contracting templates, playbooks, and related processes.
- Collaborate on global legal projects and initiatives.
- Support extensive Legal and Compliance efforts within the organization.
Qualifications
- A minimum of seven years of pertinent legal experience, particularly in negotiating complex agreements in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
- Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership with at least one U.S. state bar.
- Strong understanding of the drug development and commercialization process.
- Ability to independently manage intricate negotiations.
- Eligibility to practice in-house in Massachusetts.
