Job Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings. The ideal candidate will exhibit empathy and professionalism while providing support to both patients and their families during challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to hospice patients according to established protocols and individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Educate patients and families about hospice services, pain management, and disease processes.
- Document patient assessments, care interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergencies and address patient needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience in hospice, palliative care, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
