Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist will provide essential respiratory care services to patients, ensuring high standards of care and safety during their shifts. This full-time role operates from 7 PM to 7 AM, focusing on delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care and proper usage of equipment.
- Document patient care in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
