Job Summary
The caregiver plays a crucial role in supporting clients by aiding them with everyday tasks to enhance their quality of life. This position involves providing physical assistance as well as facilitating clients’ communication regarding their care requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate clients’ ongoing care needs to their families effectively.
- Provide transportation services for clients to attend appointments and go shopping.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of professional experience in caregiving.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Preferred: Home Care Aide (HCA) license with the State of California.
