Job Summary
The Automotive Tire and Lube Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of vehicles. This position focuses on performing tire installation, rotation, and lubrication services while adhering to high-quality standards and safety practices. Technicians will also assist in diagnosing issues related to tire and lubrication systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and balance new tires on vehicles.
- Perform tire rotations and repair flat tires.
- Conduct oil changes and related lube services.
- Inspect vehicles for any safety issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records.
- Assist customers with questions and provide excellent service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in automotive service or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of tire and lube services is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
