Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for various tasks that support the movement and management of inventory, helping to maintain productivity and accuracy in the distribution process.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize, sort, and store products in designated areas in the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse space.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
- Assist in inventory management, including counting stock and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
