**Physician Advisor**
The Physician Advisor is responsible for evaluating clinical cases to ensure adherence to compliance standards, validate medical necessity, and promote efficient use of resources. This role involves working closely with medical personnel and case management groups to enhance patient care, improve documentation, and manage lengths of hospital stays effectively. Ideal candidates should possess board certification as physicians, a current medical license in the US, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience. Expertise in utilization management, knowledge of hospital electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and familiarity with MCG or InterQual criteria are necessary for this position.
