Job Summary
The position of Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) offers a competitive weekly salary ranging from $1,818 to $2,099. This role is based in Portland, Oregon, and requires an onsite presence. Candidates will be engaged in critical surgical settings, predominantly within a short-term acute care hospital environment. The assignment is expected to last for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the flow of operations and efficiency.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies required for various procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during surgeries.
- Participate in patient positioning, draping, and ensuring comfort before procedures.
- Support the surgical team in all aspects of operation team coordination.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Previous experience in a surgical environment, ideally in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
