Job Summary
The Transportation Aide plays a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of residents to various medical appointments and activities, all while prioritizing their comfort and well-being. This position also requires the individual to assist residents with mobility and perform essential Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties within the facility during periods when transportation is not needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive residents to scheduled medical appointments and activities.
- Monitor residents’ comfort and health condition during transportation.
- Assist residents with mobility needs as necessary.
- Perform standard CNA duties within the facility when not engaged in transportation.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Applicants should be at least 25 years of age.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas is required.
- Ability to pass a DMV check and successfully complete the company’s driver proficiency program.
