The In-house Attorney functions as the chief legal counsel for the Board of Directors, ensuring adherence to federal and tribal regulations while safeguarding tribal sovereignty. Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents, overseeing litigation processes, and offering guidance on matters related to employment, contracting, and internal operations. Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain active membership in their respective State Bar. A minimum of five years of experience in Federal Indian law, federal contracting, and litigation is required for this position.
