Job description
The Claims Recovery Specialist is responsible for negotiating and settling claims related to property and utility damage involving third parties. This role entails direct interaction with responsible parties and their insurance companies. Key responsibilities include maintaining records in a proprietary database, handling daily inbound and outbound communications, and working closely with field investigators to robustly defend liability claims. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in claims, recovery, or the insurance sector, alongside a solid command of Microsoft Office applications. A college degree is advantageous, and knowledge of the construction or utility locate sectors would be beneficial.
