Job Summary
The Deskside Technician is responsible for executing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and solutions for intricate hardware, software, and network connectivity challenges spanning various security enclaves. This role also includes the management of workstation installations and ensuring compliance with endpoint security protocols, specifically STIG requirements, while offering real-time assistance for classroom and training technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Oversee workstation deployment activities to ensure proper setup and configuration.
- Maintain compliance with endpoint security practices in accordance with STIG requirements.
- Provide immediate technical support for educational and training technology systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise desktop support.
- An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- A DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I certification is required for carrying out cybersecurity tasks.
