Job Summary
The VTC Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the enterprise video teleconferencing systems within varied security enclaves, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of video communication projects while adhering to security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain video teleconferencing infrastructure across multiple security networks.
- Manage key components such as bridges, codecs, and associated management systems.
- Provide Tier II and Tier III support for incident resolution in video conferencing systems.
- Conduct site surveys for the installation of new video teleconferencing setups.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in video teleconferencing technology.
- An active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco VTC infrastructure and IP networking.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity compliance standards, including STIGs and RMF.
