Job Summary
The DevOps Systems Engineer position is based in Herndon, Virginia, and requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance upon hiring. This role is integral to the organization’s operational and developmental processes, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of systems through DevOps principles.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage DevOps practices to streamline software development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and security.
- Facilitate the integration of automation within development and operations.
- Support system deployments and maintenance ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of pertinent experience, or
- Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD in a related field with appropriate expertise.
- Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance is mandatory at time of hiring.
