Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
- Adhere to physician instructions while maintaining compliance with established protocols.
- Manage patient documentation, including assembling and preserving patient charts.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to fulfill patient care requests effectively.
- Ensure that the surgical environment is sterile and safe.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist may be preferred or required.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and procedures.
