Job Summary
The Landfill Gas Pump Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of gas extraction systems at landfill sites. This position focuses on ensuring optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations, contributing to effective waste management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain landfill gas extraction equipment and related systems.
- Monitor system performance and report on operational data.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on gas collection infrastructure.
- Collaborate with environmental compliance teams to meet regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
- Experience in equipment maintenance or a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to landfill operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
