Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a vital role in assisting during surgical procedures. This position is based in El Paso, Texas, and requires onsite presence. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room, sterilizing surgical instruments, and providing support to the surgical team to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment prior to procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by providing necessary tools and materials during operations.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
