Job description
The role of the material handler involves providing raw bar stock to production machinery and ensuring accurate inventory management utilizing computerized systems. This position also entails performing material conditioning, transferring components between different departments, and aiding in the processing of scrap metal. Ideal candidates should possess strong hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterity, and the physical capability to lift weights exceeding 40 pounds on a regular basis. Additionally, applicants must be at least 18 years old and be willing to undergo training to become certified in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts.
