Job description
The Commercial Counsel will collaborate with commercial teams to facilitate the negotiation, drafting, and execution of diverse business contracts throughout the entirety of the deal lifecycle. This role also emphasizes enhancing internal legal processes, optimizing contract management systems, and delivering strategic legal guidance to address the needs of business units. Applicants should possess a law degree (JD or equivalent) and maintain active membership in good standing with the New York bar. A minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent experience is necessary, ideally gained within a law firm or an in-house environment, with a strong emphasis on the negotiation of commercial contracts.
