Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR plays a vital role in the surgical team by assisting in various capacities during surgical procedures. This position is centered around preparation for surgery, ensuring the operating room is appropriately set up, and maintaining a sterile environment to promote patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure all necessary tools are available.
- Support the surgical team throughout the operation.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients.
- Handle and manage surgical tools with care and precision.
Qualifications
- Experience as a surgical technician or in a related field may be required.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and operating room protocols.
