Job Summary
This position focuses on managing the complete productization process of pointing, acquisition, and tracking opto-mechanical subsystems, transitioning them from prototypes to flight qualification. Furthermore, this role involves overseeing the mechanical integration of payloads into both terrestrial and extraterrestrial platforms while designing and refining sophisticated control systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the productization of opto-mechanical subsystems from initial prototype stages through to successful flight qualification.
- Oversee the integration of mechanical systems for payloads destined for ground and space applications.
- Architect and optimize advanced control systems to ensure precision performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of opto-mechanical systems or precision control systems.
- Demonstrated history of advancing hardware from prototype stage to flight readiness.
- Expertise in control theory and structural analysis.
