Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (RN Emergency Room) to take on a contract position based in Cleveland, OH, for a term of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver patient-centered care.
- Perform assessments and emergency interventions as needed.
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Verification of required licenses and certificates.
- Immunization records including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
- Completed fit test and physical/health statement documentation.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Completion of UHS-specific documents and verifications.
- Driver’s License or State ID required.
- Completion of background checks and drug screening as per UHS policies.
- Evidence of tuberculosis testing (2 Step PPD or IGRA).
