The Registered Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in the preparation, compounding, and distribution of medications for patients. They are responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels, documenting daily activities, and ensuring all medication orders are processed within departmental timeframes. Candidates must hold a Registered Pharmacy Technician license from the State Board of Pharmacy or be a Pharmacy Intern. Additionally, 2 years of pharmacy technician experience and 40 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products are required.
