Job Summary
The primary role involves managing operations within an affordable housing portfolio, with a focus on maintaining regulatory compliance, effective staffing, financial oversight, leasing processes, resident engagement, and overall property upkeep. This position is pivotal in guiding on-site teams, assessing property conditions, ensuring quality services, managing financial plans, overseeing contracts, and guaranteeing precise reporting and prompt solutions to operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of affordable housing properties.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead and supervise on-site teams effectively.
- Monitor the condition of properties and the quality of services delivered.
- Manage operational budgets and financial performance.
- Oversee leasing practices and resident relations initiatives.
- Handle property maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on operational performance.
- Address and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in affordable housing, particularly with LIHTC.
- Prior experience in a Regional Manager role is essential.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in the housing industry is also acceptable.
- CAM or ARM certification is highly preferred.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA standards is required.
