Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for managing the flow of materials within a warehouse environment. This role involves handling, relocating, and maintaining inventory to support the operational needs of the warehouse effectively.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products for damage or defects.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment for transporting products safely.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock control.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure timely distribution of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in material handling or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Certifications for operating forklifts or similar equipment are a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
