Job Summary
We are seeking a Transplant Med-Surg/Tele/SDU Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical/Surgical for a contract position based in Cleveland, OH. This assignment is set for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for transplant patients in a surgical, telemetery, and step-down unit environment.
- Monitor patients’ progress and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Verification of license and necessary certifications.
- Evidence of vaccinations, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
- Completion of a Fit Test and a Physical/Health Statement.
- Two-step PPD or IGRA test results (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Driver’s License or State ID for identification purposes.
- Successful clearance for various UHS background checks, including criminal and OIG searches.
- Completion of necessary UHS training modules and an employment verification process.
