Job Summary
The Functional Nutritionist is responsible for performing thorough nutritional assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and offering continuous consultations aimed at identifying and addressing the underlying factors contributing to mental health issues. This role involves working closely with psychiatric providers to promote a cohesive, holistic strategy for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed nutrition evaluations to understand patients’ needs.
- Design tailored treatment plans targeting the root causes of mental health challenges.
- Provide ongoing consultation to monitor and adjust nutritional strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with psychiatric professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a nutrition-related discipline.
- Certified Functional Nutritionist certification.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in functional nutrition counseling.
- Strong skills in clinical documentation.
