Job Summary
The Tool Crib Attendant plays a crucial role in overseeing the inventory management, inspection, and upkeep of tools, consumables, and equipment found in the warehouse. This position involves working closely with both engineering and purchasing teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and facilitate manufacturing processes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the inventory of tools and equipment within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and consumables.
- Coordinate with engineering and purchasing departments to ensure proper stock levels.
- Support manufacturing operations with timely availability of necessary equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organizational abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift items exceeding 50 pounds in a warehouse setting.
