Job Summary
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the production processes within our facility in Paducah, Kentucky. This position entails ensuring that the production goals are met efficiently and that quality standards are upheld while managing a skilled team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the production team to maintain optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Ensure that production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Plant Manager on operational strategies.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in working order.
- Manage inventory control and address any discrepancies in stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures.
- Ability to operate machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including manual activities.
