Job Summary
The Wastewater DAF Technician is responsible for the operation, observation, and upkeep of the Dissolved Air Flotation system, playing a key role in effectively eliminating pollutants from industrial wastewater. This position encompasses conducting laboratory analyses, managing chemical dosing, inspecting equipment, and ensuring adherence to environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Dissolved Air Flotation system.
- Perform laboratory tests to analyze wastewater samples.
- Administer appropriate chemical dosing for effective treatment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment or industrial pretreatment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Ability to conduct laboratory testing and troubleshoot equipment effectively.
