Job Summary
The Composite Technician is tasked with the hands-on creation and fabrication of composite materials utilizing techniques such as lay-up, braiding, and filament winding. This position demands proficiency in operating specialized machinery, including autoclaves and ovens, to ensure high-quality production outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct lay-up, braiding, and filament winding of composite materials.
- Operate machinery such as autoclaves and ovens effectively.
- Bond various materials following established specifications.
- Monitor and assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform repairs on composite products as needed, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be classified as a US Person due to Department of Defense contracting regulations.
