Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in the financial operations of the organization, focusing on the accurate processing of vendor invoices and ensuring that all transactions align with company guidelines. Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Perform three-way matching to ensure consistency among purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.
- Ensure adherence to company policies throughout the invoicing and payment processes.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare essential financial reports as needed for management review.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Proficiency in analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
