Job description
The Accounting Team Lead is responsible for managing financial reporting, preparing journal entries, and ensuring account reconciliations, all while promoting a culture of accountability and ongoing enhancement. This role includes assisting with both internal and external audits, handling regulatory reporting, and serving as backup for accounts payable duties. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 5 years of pertinent accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in general ledger systems, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the banking sector.
