Job Summary
The Laboratory Assistant plays a crucial role in the laboratory environment, supporting various laboratory operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily activities. This position is full-time and involves working varied shifts to meet the laboratory’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist laboratory personnel in performing experiments and tests.
- Prepare samples and reagents required for laboratory procedures.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure it is in working order.
- Document test results and contribute to data entry and analysis.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional laboratory training is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety practices.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
