Job description
**Job Title: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner**
The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will deliver both inpatient and outpatient neurological care, which entails diagnosing health issues and overseeing patient management. This role also includes responsibilities such as educating patients, guiding students, and engaging in quality improvement efforts. Applicants must have a Master’s degree from a recognized nursing or Physician Assistant program and hold an active nursing license in Illinois. Additionally, Acute care certification is mandatory for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and the capacity to obtain credentials from the Northwestern Medicine Medical Staff Office.
