Job description
The Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible for delivering radiation treatments to patients with the use of specialized machinery, all while closely observing their physical state and offering emotional reassurance. Key duties include ensuring precise patient positioning, keeping comprehensive treatment logs, and conducting daily safety inspections of equipment. Applicants are required to possess an associate degree in a relevant discipline and must have graduated from an accredited radiation therapy program. A valid Florida Radiation Therapy license, ARRT certification, and CPR training are essential prerequisites.
