Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Gynecology at Fox Chase Cancer Center plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients. The APP is responsible for collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive gynecological services, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and evaluate health histories.
- Develop and implement care plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required in gynecological care.
- Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Certification in women’s health or relevant specialty preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
