Job Summary
The Analytical Chemist position involves conducting detailed chemical analyses to assess the composition and characteristics of various substances. The role is critical in ensuring quality control and supporting research and development initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analyses using various analytical techniques.
- Document findings and maintain detailed records of experiments.
- Collaborate with other scientists to develop new methods and enhance existing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in laboratory work.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize analytical methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Proven experience in laboratory settings, particularly in analytical chemistry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with advanced analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
