Job Summary
The Anesthesia Tech II plays a crucial role in supporting patient care within the operating room setting by managing anesthetic supplies and equipment. This position ensures all necessary tools are sterile, functional, and immediately accessible for clinical use during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Stock and organize anesthetic supplies to ensure readiness for surgical cases.
- Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Assist healthcare professionals during patient care procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all equipment is sterile and in working order for use in the operating room.
Qualifications
- An individual must have successfully completed an anesthesia technician program or have a minimum of two years of applicable experience in supporting anesthesia practices.
- Proficiency in terminology relating to drugs and equipment used in the operating room is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required to handle equipment and supplies effectively.
