Job Summary

The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering healthcare services by working alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position is focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions within a family medicine and emergency medicine context. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to diverse populations in an onsite setting.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and best practices in patient care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Graduation from an accredited graduate program in nursing or physician assistant studies.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in family medicine or emergency medicine is preferred.
